We went to see Opa's other brother who lives in the old family house where Opa grew up. Their names are Gerhard and Gabi. We went to a pool and I went down the water slide lots of times. At their house they have a big garden where there were heaps of little insects made out of metal. The creatures were all around the garden. We had lots of fun finding them. We had dinner at their house. Gabi cooked lots of yummy food.
We went to an old town. The old town was called Linz. We had a good time looking at the old buildings.
We climbed up a big mountain to see a castle. It was called Drachenfels, which means dragon mountain but we didn't see any dragons. We had an ice cream up the top.
We went to another castle called Berg Eltz. It was really big. It had heaps of armour from knights. The castle was built 800 years ago, before Australia was discovered. We saw some of their jewels and the swords and cannons they used. They had toilets where everything you did fell outside onto the ground!
